    Yoga

It’s impossible to address the mind without incorporating our bodies (and vice versa), but often we go through life disconnected and only focusing on one aspect of our struggles. We are three-dimensional beings and all three dimensions need to be considered.

Yoga is quite literally the union of our mind, body, and spirit. Yoga can bring images of certain body types in complicated poses, but that’s not true yoga. Yoga involves mindfulness, breath, and meditation in addition to physical postures. It deepens our understanding of the balance between stillness and movement in our lives.  Yoga is for everybody.

As a certified yoga teacher, I incorporate yoga into my work with clients to help with decreasing stress, anxiety, and depression. It also helps with increasing self-awareness and becoming comfortable in your own skin. Aside from therapy and coaching, yoga classes are also offered for individuals and small groups with the beginner yoga student in mind. During the current health pandemic, classes will be held virtually. Please contact me for information on how to get started.
